Me Too, Child (working title)

A documentary film on the journey of survivors fighting to eliminate all statute of limitations in Florida for minors who have been sexually abused.

As of July 1, 2020, all minors under the age of 18 who have been sexually abused can now file criminal charges against their perpetrators when ready in the State of Florida. Decades worth of trauma is what pushed Donna Hedrik and Terri Parsons, both victims of sexual abuse from their high school choir teacher, to fight for fellow survivors and make this a law. The testimonies shared by many survivors on the House and Senate Floors who missed the past statute of limitations, in some cases just by a few months, are heart wrenching to say the least, but their stories were necessary to convince lawmakers to pass “Donna’s Law”.
